What a pity – a great country that was making progress catching up with the industrialized nations makes a mistake by electing Erdogan, who immediately acted on his Islamic agenda, making enemies with Israel, then supporting extremist Islamic groups that toppled his neighbor’s secular governments (Libya, Egypt, Syria). And the Turkish people wonder why they are not being welcomed to the EU. Go figure!
