I think that’s still wrong or at least still inaccurate. GDP is a value added concept while revenue is not. When America imports rubber and cotton and makes sneakers, GDP only counts the price the sneakers sell at less the price of the imported rubber and cotton. Verizonテ「ツ€ツ冱 revenues are more analogous to the sale price of the sneakers. What we want is Verizon’s net income plus the salary bill and the interest expense. That’s analogous to how GDP = GNI, and how GNI consists of income from capital and labor.
