If I personally had the opportunity to contribute to updating the sex and relationship guidance teachers rely upon, I would ask that we include more information about safety whilst online. This does not just mean when people use social networks and email, but also when they send explicit messages and photographs. A photo says a thousand words and a lot of girls and young women have unfortunately found this out the hard way. Further information about use of privacy settings, being aware of who you are talking to online and considering what information is safe to display, could prevent a lot of embarrassment, hurt and harm.
