AEG's Online Broadcast Center is located in Los Angeles, and that's the starting point for the live cloud workflow. AEG customers will then be able to connect to AWS' global regions. While the solution is for live broadcast, customers will be able to transition content to video-on-demand files. Simplifying the live workflow, AEG will provide a virtual broadcast transport layer with AWS, one that works for special events and live linear channels. By doing so, AEG says customers won't need to coordinate their broadcasts with multiple third-party services.
