The group has submitted a different recapitalisation plan toCo-op Bank's board of directors on behalf of institutions owningabout 43 percent of the bank's lower Tier 2 bonds. Its proposal,a debt-for-equity swap, attempts to squeeze better terms out ofCo-op Group and potentially give bondholders majority ownershipof the bank.
