The GX7 turns this upside down by including image stabilisation in the camera body itself, similar to Olympus ILCs. This means that a range of legacy lenses (and Olympus Micro Four Thirds lenses) are stabilised when attached to the camera body. However, if you mount an existing Panasonic lens with stabilisation built in, the GX7 will use the system based in the lens.
