Any mishap would be disastrous to it’s tiny island state, not to mention the multitude of earthquakes and floods it has every year which makes even more prone to possible accidents as with the Fukishima mess in Japan. One Fukishima could potentially end their entire country. This is simply a matter of the risks far outweigh the benefits of nuclear energy for Taiwan.
