Have no idea why, I have no criminal record.(other than speeding tickets) When ever I bought a gun, I was "delayed". Which meant, there was someone there physically checking records, meanwhile, 3 days later the dealer would get clearance to sell me the gun. Oh, did I mention this was typically at a gun show, the dealer would then have to ship it to a local dealer to complete the transfer. I would then have to pay the local dealer their "registration fee" ($15-$30) as well as shipping ($15-$50) I tried contacting the ATF, but got no where. So I couldn't even correct the issue, let alone find out what the issue even was. As of late, I have been able to buy my last three guns without a snag, but that is subject to change no doubt.
